YOU CAN find bargain holidays online during “flash” sales, when travel firms sell off lastminute discount holidays at specific times. Consumer magazine Le Particulier found sites had set times for sales. Lastminute. com opens its Imbattables du Mercredi (Unbeatable Wednesday deals) for 24 hours from midnight Tuesday.
Thomas Cook has a mad weekend with its Vendredis de Folie which are from 10.00 on Friday until midnight on Monday. Club Med also does a Offres Dernière Minute weekend sale giving at least 30% off usual prices, bringing a sevenday all-inclusive Bahamas holiday down from €1,913 to €1,492. Look Voyages opens its 24h Illico from Wednesday 17.00 for 24 hours and Marmara’s Marmaraflash is from Wednesday noon-midnight.
