Tower mirror image a YouTube hit
A DIY fan scores YouTube hit of himself using a pair of mirrors to make a view of the Eiffel Tower appear in his window

A DIY fan has scored himself a YouTube hit by using mirrors to make the Eiffel Tower appear in his window – even though it does not look directly onto the celebrated monument.
The YouTube enthusiast – known only as “La Fabrique DIY” – recorded himself using a pair of mirrors, two planks of wood, some brackets and a handful of screws to make a contraption that captures the image of the tower in his windowpane.
La Fabrique DIY said: “I wanted to view the Eiffel Tower from my bed so I made a giant periscope to shift the view from my window.”
The YouTube clip has had more than 150,000 views by internet users, who have posted comments as varied as “you just increased the property value by 25%” and “girl come over – you can see the Eiffel Tower from my bed”.
