Treble top price for some flats

Property prices in some Paris arrondissements have risen twice as much as in some others

PROPERTY prices in some Paris arrondissements have risen twice as much as in some others over the past 15 years, a report shows.

The Notaires de Paris study showed anyone who bought an apartment in the working-class 10th, which contains the Gare de l’Est, the Gare du Nord and the Canal St Martin, would have seen its value nearly treble (up 189.5%) over the period.

In the hip 16th, beside the Bois de Boulogne, prices only doubled (up 108.2%).
