The Répertoire des Sociétes et des Indépendants is a private publicity company and has nothing to do with the government body that overseas independent businesses in France, the Régime social des indépendants.
Included in the terms you are supposed to accept by signing and returning the form are that you have not confused the two bodies, despite the similarity in names.
Letters coming from this company are not demands to pay cpmpulsory
French social charges, but an option to sign up to be included on a business list.
Once registered, the contract renews every year unless you cancel it.
