Plans to exclude double-glazing from energy-efficiency tax credits such as the Crédit d’impôt transition énergétique have been delayed for at least a year and the prime minister’s office has given guidelines to people planning to avoid potential problems with the work.
It said to check the artisan’s standing with references and the infogreffe.fr site for their legal status plus reading the devis estimate and guarantees closely along with rules on tax credits, while noting payment dates, VAT rates and local building rules.
