Nag-ging doubt: Can I ride a horse in town?
Is horse riding allowed in towns? Are there any specific rules? B.R.

You may ride a horse in town unless the council has passed a local bylaw (arrêté) that bans it. However on the roads a horse rider is consider to have the same responsibilities as any other ‘driver’ – for example, having to ride on the right and respect signs and road markings.
It is also recommended to leave at least a metre gap when passing a pedestrian.
