Tax bands set to rise

The income tax bands are set to rise by 1% next year, according to the draft version of the 2018 Finance Law.

This takes account of a slight rise in cost of living. There is no change to actual rates applied. The bands are expected to be:

  • 14% from €9,807 to €27,086;
  • then 30% up to €72,617;
  • then 41% up to €153,783 and then 45%.
