My wife recently renewed her passport with the Passport Office in London.
I noticed that the words ‘European Union’ did not appear anywhere on the document, despite the fact we have lived in France for nearly 43 years and that previous passports bore these words.
Have new UK passports been printed on the assumption that Brexit is bound to happen, or could there be a more sinister interpretation that there is a secret agenda between all the potentates concerned that Brexit will happen whatever British MPs may vote for?

Editor’s note: In preparation for Brexit, the UK organised for passports to begin to be printed without ‘EU’ on them. The EU has assured Connexion there will be no problem with using such passports.
