This cliff-side city is located in the southernmost commune in Metropolitan France and has hosted top diving tournaments such as the Red Bull World Series.

The cliff-tops reach roughly 70 meters and have been undercut by the ocean over time, creating the impression that the buildings on top are teetering on the edge.

This dramatic landscape is also the setting of Guy de Maupassant's short story A Vendetta.
