Another hot spell on the way
Temperatures up to 39°C forecast for south-west France on Thursday.
ANOTHER spell of hot weather is due for a large part of France later this week, forecasters say.
The heat will not be as long-lasting as in recent weeks, but temperatures are still likely to hit 35°C in the south-west on Wednesday.
Météo France says the hot weather will spread to the north on Thursday - while increasing in the south to reach highs of 38 or 39.
Night-times will be uncomfortable again with temperatures not falling below 20°C.
By Friday, the east of the country will have the hottest temperatures while the hot spell in the south tails off to leave a cooler weekend.
