I READ your article about the new breathalyser law with interest as someone who drives through France regularly. I’m not surprised that there is a whiff of vested interest from manufacturers behind this. Here in the UK there are at least two companies making NFapproved kits. I bought mine from Alco-Sense online when they first became available. When I got them they were about £2.50 for a pack of two – now they are close to £6.00 in Halfords. Who knows what they will cost this summer at the Channel ports.
