Covid-19: Map shows 1km exercise perimeter
A website has been launched to show you the 1km authorised walk / exercise perimeter around your home.
It is free to use. You enter your address into CovidRadius.info and it highlights in green a kilometre area around your house to show how far you can go when you are going out to exercise, walk the dog, or to take some air with children.
This type of outing must not last more than an hour and you should always stay near your home.
The recommended perimeter is calculated via isodistances, and distance as the crow flies.
It is also possible to use the website directly on your phone when you are outside. If you go further than one kilometre, your phone vibrates.
There is also a time countdown, which stays green the first 30 minutes. It goes yellow after 30 minutes, and red when you only have 15 minutes left.
The site says no data is kept or collected. It is automatically erased after your use.
