French sports certificates might end

Sports medical certificates which are needed to join clubs and associations may be ended after an MP said in a report that they do not prevent heart attacks and cuts could save €100million a year.

Perrine Goulet (Nièvre) said a certificat de non contre-indication à la pratique sportive should only be for high-intensity sports.
