Great to hear of dogs’ lives
Your article on the Twilight Retirement Home for Dogs struck a chord: I’m full of admiration for the kindness of the owners, Leeanne and Michael Whitley.
Three years ago we adopted a 10-year old dog from the SPA. The manager was so thrilled Belle would have a loving home for her remaining years.
She adores her twice-daily walks and rides in the car, and gives a lot of love. After a history of bad treatment, she was rescued and homed for two years before we found her.
The concept of a home for older dogs who – with luck – might be adopted by a family or an older person, is such a good idea. I wish the Whitleys success and much support.
