Friday was warmest November day on record for several parts of France
FRIDAY was the warmest November day on record for several parts of France, mostly in the south-west.
The unseasonal weather saw temperatures on average 8°C above the norm, reaching 26°C in Lézignan-Corbières in the Aude and 25°C at the Landes seaside resort of Biscarrosse.
The Dordogne and Lot also recorded their hottest temperatures for this time of year, with Bergerac reaching 24.1°C and Cahors 23.8°C.
Sunday should see temperatures up to 27°C in parts of the Aquitaine region, before cooling down again on Monday.
