Rock band agree extra date for Fête de la Musique after French shows sell out
SUPERSTAR British rock band Muse are to help Parisians celebrate the Fête de la Musique next year with a concert at the Stade de France on June 21.
The new date has been added after their three French shows this year - at Montpellier on October 16, Paris-Bercy (Oct 18) and Nantes (Oct 22) - sold out very quickly. There is also talk of a second date at the stadium in Saint-Denis.
Known for their spectacular stage shows, Matthew Bellamy and the band will be promoting their new album The 2nd Law which is released on October 1. Their song Survival, a single from the album, was the official song of the London Olympic Games.
