French swimmer Léon Marchand has not only taken the Olympic pool by storm, but also some of France’s motorways. 

The 22-year old, who has won four gold medals (two on the same day) at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, was the focus of a humorous safety message displayed on motorway boards by route operator Sanef.

“Prioritise safety, speed is for Léon Marchand” read the message posted along the A4 in the east of France pn Friday (August 2).
