Billy goat 'attacked' vehicles on street yards from local police station
A billy goat was arrested in the picturesque Dordogne town of Lalinde after it charged a number of vehicles on the street just yards from the local gendarmerie.
Officers posted an image on the the departmental gendarmerie's Facebook page of the "repeat offender" goat 'behind bars' after they managed to catch it and take it to the station's compound.
It was the third time the animal had escaped and jumped on vehicles in the centre of the small town on the banks of the Dordogne.
The animal's owner was contacted and fined €22 when he came to collect the animal a short while later.
