Too much lead in tap water’
Agence nationale de sécurité sanitaire de l’alimentation reveals new findings
Levels of lead in tap water were found to be too high still, according to a new study by the French food safety agency Agence nationale de sécurité sanitaire de l’alimentation.
The risk was found to be especially high in older buildings, and in areas with older distribution systems, the agency said and advised anyone whose homes are served by older water pipes to replace them as soon as possible.
