Water heater fault warning issued
Manufacturers will repair faulty systems free of charge
If you had an electric water heater installed in France between 2007 and 2017, it may need an urgent repair.
Manufacturers Acapulco, Ariston, Chaffoteaux, Fleck, Lemercier, Luxglas, Régent, Thermaglas and Tropical have warned that some models have developed a fault that means they could overheat.
To find out if your device is affected, note the serial number - which you can find on a plate on the bottom left of the device - and enter it, along with your email address into a dedicated page on the Ariston Thermo Group website.
If your heater is one of those affected, the manufacturer will arrange to repair the fault free of charge.
A similar problem has been identified on Acova and Zehnder heated towel rails manufactured between January 7 and June 25, 2018.
For more information and assistance contact the Ariston helpline on 0805 017 080.
