As increasing numbers of people buy flying drones for leisure use, insurers have warned of the risks they face if the drone accidently damages another person’s property.
The Fédération française de l’assurance advises drone fanatics to ensure that their multi-risk home insurance includes aeromodelling cover, which would indemnify them for any damages caused if their drone crashes and damages property belonging to a third party.
