Director Spike Lee to head Cannes film festival jury

Film director Spike Lee is to be president of the jury at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.

Lee, a Grand Prix winner in 2018 for his acclaimed movie BlacKkKlansman, said he was “honoured to be the first person from the African diaspora” to be handed the role.
