French MP campaigns against till receipts
An MP has launched an environmental campaign to ban the routine printing of till receipts in shops.
Some 12.5 billion receipts are issued annually in France, Hérault MP (LREM) Patricia Mirallès said, adding that they contain higher levels of bisphenol-A than plastic bottles.
