Lucky escape after cow falls on car
Driver unhurt in rare accident which crushed car
A DRIVER had a lucky escape this week in a freakish accident where a cow fell on to his car.
It is thought that the cow, which died in the impact, might have been wandering too close to the edge of the cliffs above and lost its balance.
The impact smashed the car’s bonnet and windscreen but the driver was unhurt.
The accident happened on the D900 near Perthus (Pyrénées-Orientales).
