Mass recall of French supermarket yoghurts
The items are all in glass pots and there are concerns over a risk of ingestion of glass shards
A huge recall of yoghurts across France has been launched including products sold in Lidl, Intermarché, Aldi and Casino supermarkets among others.
It applies to many own-brand and low-price products in supermarkets, as well as those in the ‘La Laitière de Nestlé’ range.
The yoghurts, which are all sold in multipacks of four or eight and are all glass pots, were on sale between February 1 and February 22, 2023.
The recall is due to a concern over the brittleness of the top of the glass pots, which could break, and cause ingestion of glass shards.
Full information of all the products can be found on the government alert website RappelConso.
If you have any of the yoghurts, the advice is to not consume them and to return them to the point of sale for a reimbursement.
