New ‘swingers’ campsite booked out for Easter weekend
A new ‘libertine’ campsite opened in Saint-Alvère, Dordogne, on Saturday – and was booked out for the Easter weekend, France Bleu has reported.
The Diamant Noir (Black Diamond) is the third campsite in France dedicated solely to ‘swinger’ couples – the others are in the Allier and the Gard. It can accommodate up to 160 guests and the only condition is that guests are over the age of 21.
The owners, Bruno and Sandra, are former managers of an ambulance company, and they said they wanted to make their campsite a top-of-the-range, three-star establishment.
The couple, from Moselle, took their time to find the ideal setting.
“First of all, the place must be isolated, far from other dwellings,” Bruno told France Bleu Périgord, “for the peace of the neighbours and also that of the customers because, here, everyone walks around always practically naked.”
The campsite has a night club, a swimming pool, a jacuzzi, pétanque - all the classic activities of more traditional French campings.
And the new owners have also kept the games for children because it is a requirement of the three-star campsite status. But they have modified the swing into an ‘adult’ version, by attaching some leather straps.
