Ocean liner’s bow is heading for Le Havre
The bow of the ocean liner France is heading for Le Havre after the government halted its sale at auction and claimed its right to buy the four-tonne relic for the Normandy city.
It comes as Le Havre mayor Edouard Philippe settles into his new job as Prime Minister and the sale was halted as the final bid of €150,000 was accepted. The city must now pay this price to the seller.
