Paris job for former Cameron advisor
The former chief of staff to then UK Prime Minister David Cameron is expected to take up the post of British ambassador to France this month.
Ed Llewellyn, who received a life peerage in Mr Cameron’s resignation honours list, will replace Sir Julian King, who has become the new EU commissioner for security.
Llewellyn’s experience includes several years in Brussels working for a commissioner. The old Etonian, 51, will not take up his Lords seat while in the post.
