Gendarmes in Occitanie issued two missing people reports over the weekend.

While one person has been found, an 85-year-old woman remains missing.

Suzanne Manat disappeared on Saturday (March 28) from Monestiés, Tarn.

She was visiting her brother at his house in the area and was then scheduled to visit her sister’s house nearby, but never arrived.

Mrs Manat left her brother’s house in a white Renault Twingo, with the registration number AV-851-XY.

She is 1.65 meters tall, wears glasses, and was wearing a long grey jacket when she left her brother's house.

Anyone with information is asked to call the local gendarmes on 05 63 76 89 20, or 17 in an emergency.

Officers have been using drones and a helicopter to comb the thick woodland in the area.

“A drone pilot has been called in to fly over the starting point of the search, which is her brother's house, the last place she was seen,” said Captain François Latouchel of the Albi Gendarmerie.

A second missing person report was issued by gendarmes on Sunday (March 29), for a 27-year old man who went missing in Lagrave, also in the Tarn department.

Dylan Andrieu failed to return home on Sunday, leading his worried parents to alert the local authorities.

Police announced late on Monday night, however, that Mr Andrieu had been found.
