Several different supermarket products are being recalled across France because of issues which could cause harm to consumers.
Smoked salmon
Leclerc is recalling smoked salmon to its stores across France because of a listeria risk.

The fish belongs to the ‘Ronde des mers’ brand and was produced in Norway. It is in a 210g pack and is made up of six slices of salmon.

Customers are advised not to eat the salmon and to take it back to the shop instead. They will then be entitled to a refund.

Baby milk
Auchan, Carrefour, Casino, Cora/Match, Intermarché, Leclerc and U are all recalling Candia Baby Junior 4 baby milk bottles which have been sold since July 22.
The bottles contain 250ml of milk and are sold in packs of 24.
There are concerns that the heat-sealing closure on the bottle caps is faulty, which could affect the airtightness of the contents.

The product in question is a pack of two 80g eclairs from the ‘La pâtisserie pour tous’ brand, which were being sold between September 13 and September 24.
They are being recalled because of concerns over traces of a foreign body such as metal or plastic.
Customers are advised not to eat the eclairs but to throw them away or go back to the shop for a refund.

Fruit compotes
Leclerc is also recalling a batch of fruit compotes sold under the ‘Douceur du verger’ brand. The compotes are being recalled because they contain a higher level of patulin than what is permitted.
Patulin is a mycotoxin produced by a variety of moulds, found in apples and apple products, and can be harmful to humans if present in large quantities.
