SNCF strikes in France: list of dates

Rail unions have confirmed their strike schedule in France with two days of strike action every five days up until June 28. SNCF has launched a strike calendar on its website and mobile phone app to keep users up to date with the latest strike news.

Information on cancellations on strike days will be published at 5pm on the day before the walkout begins.

Strikes are due on the following dates, but there will be serious disruption on the first day back as rolling stock will not be in proper position:

April 18-19

April 23-24

April 28-29

May 3-4 (Tuesday May 1 is the Fête du Travail national holiday, when public transport is extremely limited)

May 8-9 (May 10 is the Ascension public holiday)

May 13-14

May 18-19 (May 21 is the Pentecôte public holiday)

May 23-24, May 28-29.

June 2-3

June 7-8

June 12-13

June 17-18

June 22-23

June 27-28

A list of trains running will be displayed in each station. Any mainline ticket for a cancelled train will be valid on all trains running on that day along the same route. Customers who prefer to cancel their trip has the right to a full refund at the ticket office, regardless of purchase price.
