Wales and Northern Ireland agree air bridges with France

The Welsh Government released a statement saying it will no longer require a 14-day quarantine for people arriving from the countries identified in the British government’s list.

Meanwhile the Northern Ireland Executive said it will end the requirement for all low and medium-risk countries, which they confirmed to The Connexion includes France.

Connexion understands that this refers to the same list.

The British government has not referred to risk levels in its latest statements on self-isolation rules, relating to travel corridors to England starting from tomorrow, however it has previously referred to ‘green’ and ‘amber’ countries whose travellers would not have to self-isolate, and ‘red’ ones whose travellers would.

Scotland made a similar announcement yesterday, but excluded two countries that are included on the UK’s list.
