Green efficiency tax credit move delayed
Plans to change the CITE tax credit for energy efficiency renovations into a grant have been delayed by a year, so residents must still apply for a credit.

Ministers also said that while the CITE to swap single-glazed windows and doors for double glazing was ending the reduced 5.5% VAT rate continued for replacements and also for work such as plastering and painting.
