EDF has lowered the price it buys electricity produced by homeowners using solar panels.

The rate for electricity produced by roof-integrated panels was 60 centimes/kWh and 32 centimes for others.

These are now 58 centimes and between 31.40 and 37.68 centimes depending on where you live.

Remember – income from small-scale electricity production is not taxable.
