A Breton crisp company is revelling in global attention after a social media post from British pop star Dua Lipa including the brand’s products went viral.
Brit and Grammy award winning popstar Dua Lipa posted a photo on her Instagram page of a shopping basket in a French supermarket, containing nothing but her Louis Vuitton handbag and three packets of Brets crisps.
The three packets had different flavours: braised chicken, honey mustard, and ‘Fromage du Jura’.
The pic was part of a round-up of recent photos from the star posted in a group, with the caption ‘a week can hold… apparently everything’.
As of February 11, the post had gained over 850,000 likes, with many commenting on the crisps themselves, including the official Brittany tourism and Brets Instagram accounts.
The Brets page also reposted the story with the caption ‘One Brets is all it takes’, a spin on the singer’s global hit ‘One Kiss’.
