The discount will be applied in the form of a voucher for the shop, which can be used with purchases of €100 or more until Sunday

The government’s 18 cent per litre discount for mainland France has now come into effect, and Géant Casino stores are supplementing it by offering fuel at €0.85 for today and tomorrow (April 2).
The difference between the real cost (minus the €0.18 government discount) and the €0.85-per-litre reduced rate will be given to the customer in the form of shop vouchers for use in Géant Casino stores. The shopper has to present the bank card used for the fuel purchase and their receipt.
It should also be noted that the offer will only apply to a maximum of 50 litres of petrol or diesel per driver.
Customers will be able to use their Géant Casino vouchers with purchases worth at least €100, up to Sunday (April 3) at 12:00. These vouchers cannot be used with other discount tokens or vouchers from Casino.
Please note this offer is for Géant Casinos and not regular Casino shops. If planning to make a journey to a Géant Casino to benefit from this offer we suggest you check first that they are part of it. It is announced for all but offers can change.
Several other petrol station chains are also offering deals to help customers cope with the recent rise in the cost of fuel.
TotalEnergies has already announced that, from today, it is reducing the amount customers pay by a further 10 cents per litre, to complement the government’s 18 cent discount.
This offer will last until May 15 but does not apply to TotalEnergies Access stations, E85 or off-road fuel.
People who fill up more than 30 litres at Auchan petrol stations today or tomorrow will also be given a €6 voucher which can be used with a shop purchase of €30 or more.
