Temperatures in the south and the Rhône valley in particular will be extremely high
Temperature forecasts for today (August 18) and tomorrow (August 19) see the mercury reaching up to 39C in some parts of France.
Almost all of the country will reach 30C or more (save from some parts of Brittany and the English Channel coast) with the south west and Rhône valley in particular facing intense heat.
