Barking dogs

We had a similar problem with barking dogs (Q&A, September).

I purchased a device from Amazon that discourages dogs, emitting a high-pitched noise. Took a few days of zapping, now after a year of relative silence all I have to do is aim, zap at the hint of a bark and... silence for less than €20.
