Email error sends details to staff
Human resources' comments on employees' behaviour are emailed to 300 staff by accident
THE performance notes of the human resources office of a French company have been accidentally emailed to its staff.
The slip-up meant employees were able to read evaluations such as “not involved”, “very sarcastic” and “behavioural problems”, reveals the news website www.rue89.com
Other revelations include staff members who were in over their heads, who were thoughtful, those who deserved a raise, and those who did not.
The staff are employed by Sogeti, a subsidiary of the IT group Cap Gemini.
The head of the company's HR section has apologised to all those involved.
The comments pale in comparison with those held on a database by Acadomia, a company that looks after parent-teacher relations.
Acadomia received a formal warning in May last year from watchdog Cnil, after a random control found a database using “fat twat”, “whore of a child” and “deserves lung cancer” to describe a range of parents, teachers and pupils.
