Famille Plus label updated

Scheme brought more in line with modern parents’ demands

THE family-friendly Famille Plus label is being updated after four years to bring it more in line with modern parents’ demands.

It aims to help families choose ski and seaside resorts with dedicated facilities, services and pricing for children and parents. However, resorts need to provide more than sandcastles and children’s bicycle rides; they also need medical and care facilities.

New resorts have been added to the 2010 list, making 91 in total, but this will change next year with the new-look formula.

Among the resorts added are Argelès sur Mer (Pyrénées-Orientales), Lubersac and Neuvic (Corrèze) and Roscoff (Finistère).
