Hospital praise
I’d like to comment on the high standard of medical care in France. On a visit to my local hospital, it was discovered that my heart rate was abnormally low. As it was rush hour I was taken by helicopter to the heart unit in Poitiers. Three days later I was home with a pacemaker fitted.
In addition, our GP is the best we have ever had. We seldom wait for a day or two for an appointment.
Either I have been abnormally lucky or this is the norm.
