Man punctured up to 6,000 tyres

A 45-year-old man has been arrested and held for questioning suspected of puncturing tyres of over 1,100 cars, possibly as many as 6,000, over three years in the Bor­deaux area.

Caught in the act at 2.00, the man reportedly admitted the facts and said he did it out of ‘bitterness towards society’.
