New Lascaux cave replica already full
The new replica of the Grotte Lascaux in Dordogne has proved more popular than expected with visitors being turned away as the attraction is full.
Attracting 1,900 visitors a day, the Lascaux 4 site is 20% up on what was expected.
Bosses say that longer summer opening hours – until 22.00 – are on the way and people can buy advance tickets online.
