Unesco decision due for Cévennes and Corbusier

THE buildings of modernist architect Le Corbusier and the Causses and Cévennes countryside in the Languedoc-Roussillon and Midi-Pyrénées may be given Unesco World Heritage status.

A Unesco meeting, taking place as Connexion went to press, is also discussing the impact of planned windfarms to Mont Saint- Michel’s Unesco status.
