Livret A interest rate to remain at 0.75%

The interest rate of Livret A and LDD tax-free savings accounts has been maintained at 0.75% and will stay at this level until at least August 2017. There will be no review in February 2017. The rate should have dropped to 0.5% if the basic formulas had been applied, due to low inflation, however it is being maintained on the advice of the Banque de France Traditionally the rates are reviewed in August and February.
The rate for new plans épargne logement dropped this summer from 1.5% to 1% (existing ones maintain their original rate)
