Temperatures set to soar 10C above normal today and tomorrow
GET THE suncream out as we get set for a taste of summer – with temperatures reaching 30C in the south and 25C in the north.
The next few days are forecast to be summery, especially in the north which has borne the brunt of recent poor weather.
Today will see sunshine practically everywhere in France - although mountains will still have some cloud – and with the sun comes climbing temperatures.
RTL forecaster Louis Bodin told listeners that the average temperatures would be 23C in the north and 26C in the south – and said that as they were averages some places would be much hotter, up to 30C in the south.
Normal temperatures would be 15Cin the north and 17C in the south.
Thursday may start to see some poorer weather coming in from the west, with Météo France forecasting some rain over the western Pyrenees becoming stormy and extending across the country by Friday morning.
